For her first onestar press project Elizabeth Jaeger has compiled a list of objects, mostly mundane and small in size, that she keeps as her personal source of inspiration; from a “Childhood soap dish” to “Petals from dead bouquet”, compiling a very personal self portrait of the artist. The immediacy of the artist’s book title “IN CASE OF FIRE” perfectly highlights the selected objects of her collection as both “souvenir” and “tool” for the development of her artistic vocabulary. Elizabeth Jaeger herself can truly be found in this humble and emotional book for which the artist photographed and designed the layout as well.
