Nice Krisis was an attempt to create a facsimilé sketchbook for public consumption. An artist’s sketchbook is often his most valuable tool, but is almost never publicly viewable. Here are presented the germs of ideas that should and, in some cases, shouldn’t exist.

Patrick Phipps (born Texas City, 1969) is an artist living and working in Houston, Texas.
By day he runs an art bookstore and by night he deejays for fun.
