From the first time when I saw N. she seemed less a stranger to me than anyone else in my family; I found something of myself in her. Her family lives on the tenth floor of a suburban housing block with a view of the mountains. In her room, she improvised a play for me. She was natural and spontaneous with an innocent narcissism which was a pleasure to see. I began filming her four years ago and will continue as long as she wants me to. Slavica Perkovic
